Why Kill The 8-5 Routine?

To answer this question, I will describe three typical scenarios that I have experienced personally, and then we will draw some conclusions:

Scenario # 1 - Having a "stable" job

I get up at 6.00, I take a shower, have breakfast, I get ready to go to work. At 7.00 I leave my house to go to my work. I travel an hour from my house to my work, i.e. I arrive at 8.00 and start my working day. Some days I spend hours in meetings. Normally I leave my work at 5.00 pm, but I have had to work until later, I sometimes even left my office at 8.00 pm. I also had to sacrifice some weekends, which means having to sacrifice some of my "free" time that would have spent with my family. Even on holidays, there have been times I have received calls from my boss telling me that "I need to go to work" Last time that happened it to me was when I were in my born city spending a great time with my parents, brothers, sisters, uncles and aunts, six hours far from the city where I “should have” go to work.

In exchange to those obligations, I used to receive a check for a fixed value every end of the month (my salary). Even though I used to sacrifice the time I should have spent with my family, some weekends and some holidays, I always used to get my check every end of month for a fixed value. These were the game rules in this scenario and I couldn’t do anything about it.

Scenario # 2 - Form a Business

There is different kind of business we can form. I used to have a selling computers business, and in this case, my business did not differ much with regard to Scenario # 1. Instead of being an employee of my boss like in the scenario # 1, I ended up being employed of my customers. In this case, I also used to work very hard and sacrifice the time I should have spent with my family so that I can success with the business. In this case I had to work all weekends and holidays. Due to I did not have enough money to hire people, I myself had to attend to my clients. So from being someone else’s employee, I became a self-employed. The most I could win was what I generated by working 10 hours a day. The beauty of this scenario was that I learned many new things about sales, dealing with customers and creating a small business, but still did not feel satisfied. Most businesses are of this type. The best option is to create a business system that you do not need to be there to generate income. Creating such a business means having a lot of money to invest, and even so, you should spend some time in front until you build the business system so that it can drive by itself.

Scenario # 3 - Create Your Passive Income through Internet

I get up at 6.00, I stick a shower and breakfast. At 7:00 I turn on my computer and watch the sales made by my promotional sites (this schedule is by custom rather than by the fact that I have to do it). Some sites generate more than others, but the point is that I get revenues even though I have not been working, since I see sales were generated during the night, when I was sleeping. Scenario # 3 is an example of how to construct a system that generates a passive income, i.e. a system that lets you make money even if you are not working. This allows me to have more free time to spend with my family. It also means I do not have to give someone else the control of my time, nor need someone else decide when I should or should not take a vacation, or tell me if I can retire, and so on. In other words, I am free to take control of my life. I assure you it is a very pleasant feeling, it feels great.

Conclusion

Now, after introducing the three scenarios, I can explain more about why kill that 8-5 routine. Clearly, the message I give you here is that you do not have to find a job so that you can obtain the financial freedom, in fact, having one will only apart you from it. If you are single and have some savings, the best thing I recommend you to do is, just like Alexander the Great said: "burn ships". The best way to obtain good results in a short period of time is quit your job and dedicate full time to construct your business. On the contrary, if you are married, it is going to be more difficult to proceed this way, unless you really have enough savings that let you and your family lives well for the time you construct your business; if this is not your case, I better recommend you continue on your job, but alongside you construct your business in the way I am going to show you. In killthat8-5routine.com you will find useful information that you might apply so that changing the paradigm gets easier (I will talk about this shortly.)
